Highlighted as game of the week by Big V – 1stv 2ndin the Championship Men division – it was a massive scalp for the Senior Men, especially since McKinnon had won the past 2 match-ups.

It was an even first quarter before McKinnon made a big run in the second quarter, leading by 13 points at half time in their charity round.

The Broncos took up the challenge and increased the intensity and put on scoring pressure in the third quarter to lead by 1 point at the final break, thanks to a big buzzer beater by Jordan Coleman (check video here– 1.16.49)

With the momentum, the Senior Men took a 10 point lead mid-way through the final quarter before McKinnon came back again within 2 points but that is as close as they got.

Crucial free throws made and a massive 4 point play by Jordan put the result without doubt for a memorable win.

The Men sit in second position, with 2 games and head-to-heads over Hawthorn (3rd) and Casey (4th).
