With the conclusion of the Stage-4 lockdown, please note that we have returned to the Basketball Victoria ‘COVID-Safe’ status with some minor modifications as of Thursday 18 February.

Please be reminded of our most important requirements. Please ensure that you and your team are adhering to these rules. Your understanding and cooperation is imperative to us providing a safe and compliant environment for our patrons. A failure by patrons to follow these rules will require us to reduce spectator limits and re-introduce changeovers between games (with shortened game times) in order to screen each individual on entry.

• Spectator Limits. Previous rule of two family members plus siblings of player still applies.
• Face Masks. These are required for all patrons aged 12 and up. Coaches*, scorers and spectators should wear them at all times. Players should be wearing them from the car to the court.
• Venue Check-In. All spectators need to check-in on arrival to all venues. Either via the QR codes displayed on our Mobile App. Players and coaches will be recorded via PlayHQ.
• Social Distancing. All spectators must social distance inside the venue, away from the on court activity.

*Please note that coaches are now required to wear a facemask at all times.

Domestic Competitions

All domestic competitions will resume from the below dates as fixtured. Cancelled games will not be replayed.

Junior Domestic- Saturday 20 February

Senior Domestic- Sunday 21 February, Monday 22 February, Wednesday 24 February.

Programs

All programs including Aussie Hoops, Toddler Hoops, Sporting Schools will resume from Monday 22 February.

Training

All VJBL and BigV training will resume from Thursday 18 February as scheduled.

Your domestic club will advise regarding the resumption of junior domestic training.

VJBL Competition

Games that were postponed on Friday 12 February will now be played Friday 19 February. Fixtures should now reflect this.

Broadmeadows Basketball Stadium & Office

Broadmeadows Basketball Stadium courts and office will re-open from Thursday 18 February. Casual shooting will resume Monday 22February. Please check times and book via our website.
