Message from the BBA President

To all our Broadmeadows Basketball (BBA) valued stakeholders, including playing participants, Clubs, referees, coaches,  officials, sponsors, staff and supporters:

The State Government’s weekend announcement of a further relaxation of the current restrictions, particularly as they relate to community sports, is great news!

As you may be aware, basketball training and competition for people aged 18 and under has been cleared to resume with effect from Monday 22 June, which means that BBA’s safe return to training and competition plan is ready to be enacted, subject to the anticipated accompanying guidance from Basketball Victoria (BV) and clearance from the relevant Hume City Council (HCC) officers. We are anticipating the BV and HCC advices to issue soon and that the BBA Office will post, by Wednesday 17 June, a timetable of the resumption of activities including: junior domestic competition, holiday camps, junior and senior representative training, open age domestic competition and casual shooting.

We know that you are as excited as we are about this development and look forward to welcoming you back to our indoor courts!

Thanks again for your patience, best wishes

Peter Jackson
