With Todd Anderson’s recent notification of his resignation from the BBA General Manager role to take effect at the end of May, Broadmeadows Basketball will seek applications from suitably qualified persons to take up that appointment.

“Todd will be a great loss for the organisation” said BBA Vice President Glen Milner. “He has been at the forefront of a range of initiatives to position Broadmeadows Basketball as a well respected sporting entity within this region. Todd was particularly effective in leading and managing his team to deliver engagement strategies during the last two COVID impacted years of operation, resulting in a relatively smooth transition back to previous levels of competition and program activity.

“Todd is working with us to ensure that the operational and strategic frameworks BBA has established continue to deliver outcomes that meet the needs of our existing stakeholders and anticipate the potential to grow the sport in the expanding demography of the Mickleham corridor and beyond.

“These are exciting times for basketball in this region and all of our stakeholders look forward to working with Todd’s successor to realise the opportunities available to deliver this family friendly sport to people of all abilities and backgrounds in formats that best cater to their needs.”
