Statement Regarding Former Broncos Player 

The Broadmeadows Basketball Association (BBA) takes seriously its obligations to provide a safe and supported environment for all its players, supporters, and officials.  BBA has all appropriate policies and processes in place to support a positive and safe environment. BBA’s active involvement in, and promotion of, gender equity initiatives such as Crash the Boards reinforces the Club’s commitment to providing a positive and safe environment across all sectors of the competitions and programs it manages and administers. BBA Gender Equity Action Plan


BBA is aware of recent press coverage in relation to Corey Fiddes, a former Broncos Big V player.  BBA will not be making any further comment, noting that the reported events did not  happen while he was at the Club, the Club was unaware of these legal proceedings during the time with the Club and this matter is  subject to appeal.
