Leland King signs to the Hume City Broncos

The Hume City Broncos are pleased to welcome Leland King to the Senior Mens roster for the 2020 season.

The 24 year old from Inglewood in California will be an exciting prospect, with an impressive US College resume; playing for Brown University, Nevada (where Bronco Daniel Foster has committed to the next season) and UC Santa Barbara. He has also spent time playing in Europe in Division 1 in Bosnia, and has also been on a G League roster.

Leland will be a nice addition to the Big V Runners Up side that will look to go one better this season.  Head Coach Matt Foster said that Leland will add to the inside game of the Broncos, which last season is where the team struggled in the Grand Final series.

“It’s where we got hurt (last season) and they scored a lot of points close to the basket, so we wanted a bit more size to defend those guys. Leland will be great in the paint”.

We look forward to seeing what Leland will bring on and off the court in 2020. Be sure to give him a warm welcome as it is his first time in Australia! Welcome to the Broncos!
