BIG V VYCM COACHING VACANCY – HUME CITY BRONCOS


Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the role of Coach of the Big V Victorian Youth Championships Mens Division (VYCM) team.


Expectations of the successful occupant of this role are outlined below.


Coach, VYCM Team:


1. Provide positive leadership, management and coaching of the Club’s VYCM team and playing group, in terms of appropriate pre-season and in-season preparations and a competitive game style.

2. Effective player liaison and communications, including player recruitment.

3. Assist with the identification, development and promotion of Club juniors consistent with their potential to play at the highest available level, providing input to, and maintaining close contact with, the Club’s CM Coach and Director of Mens Coaching.,

4. Ensure that the VYCM team employs a style of game that will enable it to be competitive, avoiding the prospect of relegation and aiming for at least a mid-table finish.

5. Aim for at least 60% of Broadmeadows juniors or former juniors in the VYCM team, subject to talent considerations and the overall objective of remaining competitive within the VYCM competition.
