This is an exciting leadership opportunity to drive meaningful impact, through sport, across the communities of one of the State's fastest growing, most diverse regions.


We’re looking for a General Manager who brings strong leadership, communication, and relationshipbuilding skills to help deliver the goals of our Strategic Plan. The role also involves fostering our vital volunteer networks and leading a capable team across social media, competitions, program delivery, and support services.


Reporting to the Vice President of Broadmeadows Basketball Association Inc (BBA), and accountable to the Committee of Management, provide leadership and oversight for implemenation of the strategic priorities of BBA, with a particular focus on:


  • growth of the Association's participant, volunteer and financial base;

  • risk management; and

  • the Association's ongoing relationship with its members and key stakeholders, including the Hume City Council, community groups, educational institutions and sponsors


Guide and monitor the performance of the occupants of key Office and Program roles.

Participate in Committee of Management and Sub Committee meetings, reporting progress against BBA's strategic priorities.


Essential Requirements

  • Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check

  • Drivers Licence
